Job Summary:

The Tool Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient manufacturing of products with the correct dimensions and quality. This role involves adhering to a strict TPM schedule and contributing to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing process.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Health and Safety Compliance: Carry out all work activities in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  2. Equipment Maintenance: Perform first-line maintenance and repair of injection moulding tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  3. Legionella Control: Ensure evacuation of stored water from tools in line with Legionella requirements and maintain the Tool Evacuation log.
  4. Tool Breakdown Prevention: Identify potential tool breakdown issues and report to the relevant department to minimize downtime.
  5. Manufacturing Metrics: Record and maintain data to achieve manufacturing metrics.
  6. Cleanliness and Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping in the workplace.
  7. Kit Preparation: Kit production tools and ancillaries for efficient changeovers and minimal production downtime.
  8. Equipment Validation: Ensure correct storage and validation of 5S cleaning and inspection of equipment.
