We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Bakery Department at Stateside Foods.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of quality and safety
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with management teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of production, quality, and safety metrics
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to production, quality, or safety
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of production staff
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
