Specialised Nursing Supervisor

As a Specialised Nursing Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to utilise your expertise and passion for adult nursing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with complex needs. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to design and deliver person-centred care plans, ensuring that every individual receives the highest standard of care and support.
Your extensive knowledge of tracheostomy care and ventilator management will be invaluable in this role, as you work closely with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships will enable you to lead a team of carers and healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care and support of clients with complex needs, ensuring that their individual needs are met and exceeded
- Design and deliver person-centred care plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Recruit, train, and mentor carers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and inform care planning
- Promote a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team
Requirements:
- RGN qualification with active NMC registration
- At least 2 years of experience in adult nursing, preferably in a leadership or management role
- Up-to-date knowledge of tracheostomy care and ventilator management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
