Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Mains Engineer to join our Auger Team in the Winchester area.

About the Job:
  • The position involves independently completing water mains investigations and repairs on-site for our customers.
  • A new, fully equipped vehicle, mobile phone & tablet, fuel and trade card are provided.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Leak detection and repair using listening stick, ground mic etc.
  • Trenchless installation via moling (desirable).
  • Water mains investigation to establish ownership of supply pipe and liability.
  • Service laying including creation of new 'point of entry' (20mm to 32mm).
  • Use of CAT scanner to identify buried services and locate existing metallic water supply.
  • Reinstatement of domestic surface types (paving slabs, block paving, tarmac, concrete etc.).
Requirements:
  • Clear DBS check.
  • Driving license check.
  • Relevant job competency and experience.
