Water Mains Engineer Role

We are recruiting a talented Water Mains Engineer to join our team in Winchester and surrounding areas.

About this Role:
  • This role involves carrying out water mains investigations and repairs at customer locations.
  • A state-of-the-art vehicle, smartphone, tablet, fuel and trade card are provided for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and repair leaks using specialized equipment.
  • Trenchless installation via moling is preferred but not essential.
  • Investigate water mains to determine ownership of supply pipes and liabilities.
  • Lay services including creating new points of entry (20mm to 32mm).
  • Use a CAT scanner to identify buried services and locate existing metallic water supplies.
  • Restore domestic surfaces such as paving slabs, block paving, tarmac and concrete.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Clear DBS check.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Relevant skills and experience for the job.
