Job Title: Asset Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at AWD online. As an Asset Building Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes and projects on all properties owned or managed by our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prioritise and ensure delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes and projects
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and services to ensure projects are delivered to agreed standards
  • Support the Assets Investment Manager in verifying investment decisions and ensuring properties meet Decent Homes Standard
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements:
  • Professional building qualification or background in building surveying or maintenance
  • Understanding of stock condition surveys and Housing Health & Safety Rating System
  • Experience of working with building and service contracts
  • Ability to complete risk assessments
