Job Title: Asset Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at AWD online. As an Asset Building Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes and projects on all properties owned or managed by our organisation.

About the Role:

As the Asset Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, prioritising, and ensuring the delivery of maintenance programmes and projects
  • Managing budgets, contracts, and services to ensure projects are delivered to agreed standards
  • Supporting the Assets Investment Manager in verifying investment decisions and ensuring properties meet Decent Homes Standard
  • Completing risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional building qualification or background in building surveying or maintenance
  • Experience of working with building and service contracts
  • Ability to complete risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Knowledge of fire risk assessments is desirable
