About the Role

As a Project Coordinator at Mears, you will be working in our social housing background, providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.

As a Project Coordinator, you will be part of a local team supporting high-standard Project Coordination for Planned Work activities to Housing properties, delivering best-in-class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards.

  • Provide administrative, operational, and customer service project support to the Delivery and Commercial Team.
  • Assist Contracts Manager with programming and planning of the project, ensuring property lists and programmes are supplied, maintained, and updated for planned works and reports/feedback on programmes provided.
  • Monitor and report on KPI performance in accordance with contractual, operational, and commercial obligations, working with all team members to ensure an efficient and productive service is delivered to service users and clients to support the attainment and maintenance of high levels of satisfaction with performance delivery in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures.
  • Support the effective utilisation of resources across work streams.
  • Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and both internal and external stakeholders. This includes but is not limited to appearance, company ID, maintaining a high standard of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Communicate with service users, site teams, and clients regarding ongoing work and liaison with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information provided.
  • Follow and support policies, procedures, initiatives, and work instructions at all times and keep all supplied company assets in a good condition in line with the company policies and report to your manager where damages occur.
  • Provide backup to other project staff, covering any absences and attend informal and formal company and client meetings and training sessions as required.

Role Criteria:

  • Experience in social housing
  • Experience in Building Maintenance
  • IT Literate
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Customer Service experience
