About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Transport Clerk to join our Transport team at Booker Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of the Transport department, ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate tasks and functions of the Transport Clerks
  • Deliver weekly and periodical data gathering and reporting routines in line with Operating mode
  • Support the delivery of Cost, Safety, Productivity, Service, and Cultural objectives
  • Ensure vehicles depart at the correct temperature
  • Pre-Brief and Debrief compliance
  • Pre-Journey driver checks carried out by the Clerks
  • Administer Legal compliance
  • Cover Day and/or Night shifts as per rota
  • Support the management Team by covering Section Managers Holidays
