About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join our team of industry leading experts in the UK. As a key member of our fire engineering team, you will provide high-quality technical guidance and innovative solutions for a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain excellent industry relationships and information on fire engineering projects and opportunities.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise into key areas within proposals and tenders.
  • Manage fire engineering projects across various sectors, including project teams, progress, and budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, design teams, and approval bodies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Attend meetings to update project status and adjust delivery models and schedules as needed.
  • Review project technical information to prepare fire strategies and provide ongoing support from initial concept through final completion.
  • Undertake fire engineering analysis, such as radiation, smoke modeling, and structural reviews.
  • Provide design and construction support, including site visits when required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Fire Engineering or equivalent engineering qualification; a Master's in Fire Engineering or Engineering is an advantage.
  • Demonstrable fire engineering experience.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status (e.g., Interim Registration with the Engineer Council).
  • Experience of site visits/inspections for existing buildings and during construction.
  • Experience of structural fire engineering would be beneficial.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer-focused and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in standard IT applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Strives to improve performance and uses innovative methods to achieve goals.
  • Full UK driving license.

  • An estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
