Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide a large team responsible for the receipt, picking, and returns of dairy and associated products.
  • Control all movement of stock and checking of codes against tickets.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the Chilled Warehouse is maintained at all times, providing a safe working environment.
  • Supervise the safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Support and monitor team performance, encouraging them to do their job to the best of their ability.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Provide support for the Chilled Warehouse Supervisor, covering days off and holidays.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety safe practice, and the ability to understand and implement the company's Health & Safety Policy.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to foster and maintain excellent working relationships.
  • Positive attitude and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the business and provide excellent customer service.
