Warehouse Team Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our team at Cotteswold Dairy's Tewkesbury Distribution site.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a large team responsible for the receipt, picking, and returns of dairy and associated products. They will also be responsible for controlling all movement of stock, ensuring the cleanliness of the Chilled Warehouse, and supervising the safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and guide a large team responsible for the receipt, picking, and returns of dairy and associated products
- Control all movement of stock and checking of codes against tickets
- Ensure the cleanliness of the Chilled Warehouse is maintained at all times providing a safe working environment
- Supervise the safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, overseeing day-to-day operations
- Support and monitor team performance, encouraging them to do their job to the best of their ability
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Provide support for the Chilled Warehouse Supervisor, covering days off and holidays
- A working knowledge of Health & Safety safe practice, and the ability to understand and implement the company's Health & Safety Policy
- A strong communicator with the ability to foster and maintain excellent working relationships
- A positive attitude and a strong attention to detail with great communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of the business and provide excellent customer service
