Key Responsibilities:

  • To work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of KS2 pupils.
  • To provide targeted support to pupils, including one-to-one and small-group sessions, to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • To create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes social interaction, creativity, and academic success.
  • To maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide regular feedback to the teacher to inform future instruction.
  • To contribute to the development of a positive school culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of child development and learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, teachers, and parents.
  • Proven experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a patient and adaptable approach to challenging situations.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3) or equivalent experience are preferred but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits:
