**Job Description**
An inclusive primary school in Epping, part of the Wayman Learning Trust, is seeking a dedicated SEN Classroom Assistant to support young students with special educational needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to ensure each child receives the resources and guidance needed to thrive in their educational journey. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with varying SEN needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to create and adapt lesson plans and learning materials.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and curiosity.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, ideally with exposure to SEN support or in an educational setting.
- A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A current and clear Enhanced DBS check.
