Job Title: Registered General Nurse - Interventional Radiology

We are seeking a skilled Registered General Nurse to join our Radiology team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in the Interventional Radiology department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre and post-procedure care for patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Work as a scrub assistant for sterile interventional procedures
  • Circulate nurse duties for recording patients' observations, IV drug administration, and managing patient care
  • Participate in the Interventional Radiology on-call service to cover out-of-hours emergencies
Requirements:
  • Experienced Registered 1st Level Nurse with a minimum of one year working experience
  • Registered with the NMC
  • Either surgical/medical/theatre experience in the acute care setting
  • Experience in pre and post-procedural care of Day Care or Short Stay Surgery or Investigations
  • Basic Life Support with adjuncts and willingness to advance to next level of Immediate Life Support, ILS
  • Computer skills
  • Experienced in complying with working Policies and SOP's, Infection Control and Risk Management Policies
  • Blood Transfusion competencies
Desirable:
  • Experience in the provision of sessional services or timetable care provision
Language Requirement:
  • Ability to speak English as necessary to undertake the role
