Job Overview:

NES Fircroft Ltd is seeking an experienced Academic Administration Assistant to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Manufacturing Plants and Huddersfield Site. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective administrative and secretarial tasks to support manufacturing plants, allowing them to focus on production.
  • Attend meetings, take accurate notes, and produce detailed reports for Plant Task Force Meetings, Inquiries, and Site HSE Committee.
  • Support the preparation and facilitation of weekly HSE Meetings.
  • Cover Occupational Health Admin Personnel as needed.
  • Arrange meetings and events for Site personnel, including internal, inter-site, and external attendees.

Accountabilities:

  • Administer and manage administration and secretarial tasks to support manufacturing plants, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports for meetings and events, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor areas of the budget connected to community relations work and complete the Community Investment Reporting Tool for Huddersfield Site annually.
  • Maintain accurate records of Site vehicles, ensuring up-to-date insurance records.
  • Raise purchase orders and BACs requests for stationery, sponsorships, donations, and other supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • GCSE English or equivalent, with the ability to write articles, minutes, and summarize reports effectively.
  • Good keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook.
  • Familiarity with SAP and SharePoint.
  • Numerate and able to meet deadlines, handle pressure, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
