About the Role
Dovehaven Care Homes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our care and management team, you will be responsible for promoting high standards of nursing care and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the care and management team to deliver exceptional patient care and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other staff members to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the shift runs smoothly.
- Perform all general nursing duties, including updating care plans and administering medication, in accordance with CQC and NMC guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, to ensure that our care is always of the highest standard.
Requirements
- Current NMC registration and a valid PIN.
- Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on communication and collaboration.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing circumstances.
