Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Charity Fundraising Manager to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional stewardship to our supporters, resolving day-to-day queries, and identifying opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fundraising stewardship to supporters through telephone calls and emails.
  • Resolve day-to-day queries about online fundraising pages and general fundraising inquiries.
  • Follow up with supporters experiencing difficulties and encourage them to meet fundraising deadlines.
  • Identify high fundraisers and offer personalized support, developing a pipeline where appropriate.
  • Follow up with fundraisers who miss deadlines to offer additional support and motivation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize income and ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • Assist in managing processes and administration for fundraising items.
  • Develop and implement fundraising activities, including working with fundraising groups and promoting the lottery.
  • Write social media posts, blogs, and emails for mass communications and update website content as necessary.
  • Support the Head of Fundraising as required and provide regular updates.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in fundraising and a proven track record of success.
  • Customer support experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
