Philanthropy Fundraising Specialist

The National Trust is seeking a skilled Philanthropy Consultant to join our team in London and South East. As a key member of our internal consultancy, you will work closely with colleagues to help shape and achieve our ambitious fundraising vision.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing complex fundraising plans, with multiple income streams, for projects with stretching targets. You will also be proficient in fundraising through individual giving, gifts in wills, and charitable trusts. Additionally, you will be adept at building a compelling case for support and able to challenge colleagues to think differently and become innovative fundraisers.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a skilled communicator, able to build strong relationships within diverse teams, both internally and externally. You will also need to be a flexible thinker and problem-solver, skilled at negotiating and building productive networks, and confident in using your expertise to influence decisions. Furthermore, you will need to be proactive and organised, with experience of managing projects and a talent for multi-tasking and getting things done, strongly focused on detail, quality, cost, and time.
