Job Description

  • To provide exceptional fundraising stewardship to individuals participating in challenges through personalized communication and support.
  • To resolve day-to-day queries and concerns about online fundraising pages, ensuring a seamless experience for our supporters.
  • To proactively follow up with individuals experiencing difficulties, offering guidance and encouragement to meet fundraising deadlines.
  • To identify high-performing fundraisers and provide tailored support, developing a pipeline of opportunities.
  • To collaborate with internal teams, including Events, Support, Finance, Social Media, and PR, to maximize income and ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • To assist in managing processes and administration for fundraising initiatives, including collection tubs, buckets, and banners.
  • To contribute to the development of fundraising activities, working with fundraising groups, community fundraising, promoting the lottery, monthly donors, potential legacy leavers, and giving campaigns.
  • To create engaging social media content, blogs, and emails for mass communications, liaising with the Social Media team and updating website content as necessary.
  • To support the training and management of junior staff as needed.
  • To provide regular updates and support to the Head of Fundraising.
  • To identify opportunities for promoting the charity, attending ad hoc events as needed, and maximizing promotional opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in at least one area of fundraising, with a proven track record of success.
  • Customer support experience, with a focus on building strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
