Benefits Management Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Benefits Management Specialist to join our team at the NHS Business Services Authority.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits management, with experience of delivering benefits and evaluating projects in large-scale organisations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing benefits management strategies, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive business growth and improve service delivery.
As a Benefits Management Specialist, you will play a key role in driving strategic growth within the NHSBSA, enhancing our benefits management function, and actively promoting our Benefits Management Framework.
You will support all levels of benefits management, including the delivery of wider system efficiencies and benefits. This includes supporting the development of business cases, delivering benefits workshops, monitoring and reporting project and programme benefits, and providing advice and guidance to change delivery colleagues, project board members, and SROs.
The role has a dedicated focus on reviewing and evaluating benefits practices, coordinating this in line with HM Treasury guidance for post-project evaluation. You will also drive benefit management practices in continuous improvement throughout the NHSBSA, alongside senior management teams, and support the Benefits Lead to ensure our framework is delivered consistently and in line with best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing benefits management strategies to drive business growth and improve service delivery
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver benefits and evaluate projects in large-scale organisations
- Supporting the development of business cases, delivering benefits workshops, and monitoring and reporting project and programme benefits
- Providing advice and guidance to change delivery colleagues, project board members, and SROs on benefits management practices
- Reviewing and evaluating benefits practices in line with HM Treasury guidance for post-project evaluation
- Driving benefit management practices in continuous improvement throughout the NHSBSA, alongside senior management teams
- Supporting the Benefits Lead to ensure our framework is delivered consistently and in line with best practice
