Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.
- Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and reconcile bank statements to maintain a clear financial picture.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, reconciling accounts and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Proactively chase outstanding arrears and payments to minimize financial risks.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts, to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with management to create and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations, maintaining a high level of financial integrity.
- Manage tax filings and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent IT and finance system skills, as well as proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong communication and attention to detail skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
