Job Title: Part Time Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our support team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work alongside another member of the team on a 2 to 1 basis to provide support for an individual with complex care needs and brain injury.

About the Role

The individual you will be supporting lives within a family property with ample space and designed with their needs at heart. The property features a hydro pool to assist with rehabilitation.

The client requires full assistance with promoting personal care/hygiene, personal safety, and well-being, as well as supporting a healthy and nutritional balanced diet. They also require assistance with administering medication and writing detailed notes on their day-to-day activities, care, and healthcare input.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working within care and with complex needs/brain injury is desirable, but full training and support will be given.
  • Ability to work a 6-week rolling rota with rest periods.
  • Availability to work 28 hours per week.
  • Full clean driving license for insurance purposes.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a family property with a hydro pool and will be required to assist with daily living goals and care to suit the individual's needs, while ensuring their dignity, safety, and well-being are maintained.

The client has a complex care plan and requires assistance with personal care, medication, and daily living activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the support team to ensure the individual's needs are met.

Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour for weekday and night shifts, £15.00 per hour for weekend and night shifts, and time and a half for bank holidays. Sleep-in rate is £77.50 per shift.
