Job Title: Part Time Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our support team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work alongside another member of the team on a 2 to 1 basis to provide support for an individual with complex care needs and brain injury.

About the Role

The individual we support lives in a family property with ample space and designed with their needs at heart. The property features a hydro pool to assist with rehabilitation. The client requires full assistance with personal care, hygiene, safety, and well-being, as well as supporting a healthy and nutritional balanced diet.

They also require assistance with administering medication and writing detailed notes on their day-to-day activities, care, and healthcare input. Previous experience working in care and with complex needs/brain injury is desirable, but full training and support will be given.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the individual with complex care needs and brain injury
  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, safety, and well-being
  • Support a healthy and nutritional balanced diet
  • Assist with administering medication
  • Write detailed notes on day-to-day activities, care, and healthcare input
Working Hours and Rates

The successful candidate will work on a 6-week rolling rota with rest periods. The working hours are 28 hours per week, with weekday and night rates of £12.50 per hour, weekend and night rates of £15.00 per hour, and bank holiday rates of time and a half. Sleep-in rates are £77.50 per shift.

Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS check required
  • Full clean driving licence required for insurance purposes
  • Desirable to have experience or knowledge with behaviors that may challenge
