About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding and Welfare Advisor to join our team at Together Active.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and communities through effective safeguarding practices.

The successful candidate will have expertise in safeguarding, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Develop and implement safeguarding strategies to ensure compliance with national standards.
  2. Provide expert advice and guidance to local clubs and organisations on safeguarding best practices.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with community safeguarding officers, National Governing Bodies, and statutory services.
  4. Design and deliver training programmes for Club Welfare Officers.
  5. Conduct regular safeguarding audits to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding initiatives.
Salary and Benefits
  • Estimated salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
