About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding and Welfare Advisor to join our team at Together Active.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide expert advice on safeguarding and welfare matters to local clubs and organisations.
  • To develop and deliver training programmes to enhance safeguarding knowledge and skills.
  • To collaborate with stakeholders to improve safeguarding standards across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
Key Performance Indicators
  • To increase the number of local clubs and organisations adhering to safeguarding and welfare standards.
  • To reduce incidents of child abuse and neglect in physical activity settings.
  • To improve trust in safeguarding processes among local communities.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as social work or education.
  • Proven experience in safeguarding and welfare roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
