As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be part of our innovative team in Derby, working on thrilling challenges and groundbreaking projects within Nuclear and Defence.

Your key responsibilities will include designing components to customer specifications, creating models and drawings with CAD, researching new ideas and methods, improving products and processes, modifying designs for requirements, ensuring safety compliance, finding creative solutions, and supporting junior team members.

**Requirements:**

* Previous experience as a Senior Design Engineer or similar role
* Ability to work with the Mechanical Engineering Team to realize ideas
* Understanding of safety legislation
* High degree of knowledge around Design for Manufacture
* Familiarity with 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX or similar) for model and drawing creation
* Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcentre or similar)
* Professional qualification in an engineering related field
