Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Abatec Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our inventory remains optimally stocked to meet the growing demands of our clients' customer base and evolving market trends.
About the RoleIn this exciting role, you will work closely with suppliers to manage stock levels and oversee the purchasing process, aligning with business objectives. Your strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively influence others and work in a fast-paced department.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and optimize stock levels to meet business demands
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate and procure materials
- Oversee the purchasing process to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Maintain accurate records and reports of stock levels and purchasing activities
- Collaborate with the team to implement process improvements and ensure seamless inventory management
For this role, we are looking for an individual with:
- Experience in purchasing and inventory management, preferably with a computerized Replenish System
- A manufacturing background or relevant industry experience
- Familiarity with supply chain practices and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills
We offer a competitive salary, with a range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive:

This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday, with a potential to progress within the company. The working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8:30am - 4:00pm on Friday, with a 45-minute lunch break on Monday to Thursday and a 1-hour lunch break on Friday.
