**Warehouse Supervisor**

**Contract**: Permanent
**Salary**: £30K - £38K

**The role**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervising a warehouse team and operations to meet business targets and minimise stock shrinkage.
- Responsibility for the cycle of perpetual stock counts of all stock locations across our main stores and remote locations (including company vehicles or 3rd party holding stocks).
- Overseeing the logistics of receiving, warehousing, and dispatching of stocks.
- Completing the required documentation and process to export goods overseas.
- Planning and communicating all warehouse staging schedules in line with project delivery milestones.
- Working with the Procurement team to ensure minimum stock levels are set and maintained including any restocking picks for shipments to other stocking locations.
- Maintaining a professional relationship with all external suppliers and equivalent escalation contacts.
- Enforcing safety and security procedures including any required checks.
- Understanding key systems utilised, and when identified provide the Business Transformation team with any system improvements or integration requirements to further simplify or automate workflows.
- Managing a small team including completing regular team reviews, setting objectives and supporting personal development plans.
**Skills and experience**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory, or management role within warehousing and stock control.
- Knowledge of and experience using a Inventory stock control and demand planning system.
- Some technical engineering experience or knowledge of active hardware would be an advantage, however not essential as full training provided.
- Full UK Driving License holder.
- Forklift license holder or a willingness to attend training and an exam within the first 3 months of starting employment.
- Basic first aid qualification.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure in order to meet deadlines.
