We are a leading manufacturer in the pet industry, based in Yatton, Somerset. Our company, Pets Choice Ltd, produces veterinary and healthcare products for pets and small animals under the brands of Bob Martin and Vetzyme.

We are seeking a Goods In Quality Control Technician to join our Quality team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials used to manufacture final products meet our quality specifications.

Your key duties will include:

  • Inspecting raw materials and accompanying paperwork to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Sampling raw materials for delivery to our QC Laboratory for testing
  • Undertaking specific testing, such as identity tests, on certain raw materials and completing formal Test Reports
  • Verifying suppliers' test results to ensure they meet our in-house standards
  • Applying QC 'Passed' stickers to stock that meets our quality standards
  • Documenting 'Passed' status in our electronic stock management system
  • Meeting doc-to-stock timescales
  • Reporting non-conformances to the QC Lab Manager in a timely manner

As a successful candidate, you will have high attention to detail and previous experience in a quality control role.

You will also be proficient in using IT and Microsoft Office packages, ideally with experience of document processing.
