About the Role

Faircloth Construction Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of assigned projects to maximize profitability and cash flow.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial aspects of projects to ensure maximum profitability and cash flow
  • Assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
  • Prepare and present monthly cost reports
  • Work with clients to agree valuations and contract variations
  • Support project teams with commercial and contractual expertise
  • Procure and manage sub-contractors
  • Provide support to estimating with tendering as required
Requirements
  • Experience working on commercial, retail, industrial, and leisure projects valued up to £15m
  • Proven experience in commercial management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Experience with JCT and NEC forms of contract
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
