Job Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Audit & Accounts Senior to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants based in the South-East region. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive audit and accounts service to a diverse range of corporate and non-profit organizations, primarily consisting of academies. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements from client trial balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit all areas of financial statements, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Take ownership of allocated work, communicating effectively with managers and partners as necessary.
  • Meet deadlines efficiently, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture, demonstrating a willingness to help others and take initiative when needed.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a professional and respectful manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or near qualification, with a strong background in audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment as an Audit Senior/Executive or Semi-Senior.
  • Experience in a Top Tier/Mid Tier/Top 50 or large/medium independent firm background, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audit and accounts services.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, with experience of supervising others and delegating work effectively.
  • A desire to progress your career, post-qualification, and develop within a leading firm.
