Regional Account Manager (Takeback Services)

Wasterecruit Ltd is seeking a skilled professional to support a leader in the circular economy in their continued growth. The company has a customer base of over 600 household-name businesses with product-related environmental obligations.

The role is an integral part of the Operations Team, responsible for:

  • Delivering waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), batteries, and packaging compliance on behalf of the company's UK members.
  • Managing local authority WEEE and battery contracts.
  • Managing producer responsibility notification (PRN) purchasing.
  • Managing supply chains for WEEE, batteries, and packaging.
  • Building and delivering takeback services in the UK.
  • Compiling and analyzing operational data and producing business key performance indicators (KPIs) to shape strategy.
  • Developing and implementing the company's UK operational database.
  • Developing relationships with local authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support business development.

As a Regional Account Manager, you will:

  • Ensure the company is represented operationally in your assigned area.
  • Address operational issues and the requirements of collection points in a timely manner.
  • Manage and deliver existing takeback services in the UK.
  • Design, implement, and follow up on new takeback services.

The role is home-based with extensive travel throughout the UK, including to the company's offices in London and Warwickshire when required.
