Wasterecruit Ltd is seeking a skilled Regional Account Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for delivering WEEE, Batteries, and Packaging compliance on behalf of the company's UK members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • \t
  • Manage Local Authority WEEE and Battery contracts. \t
  • Purchase PRNs and manage supply chain for WEEE, Batteries, and Packaging. \t
  • Build and deliver takeback services in the UK. \t
  • Compile and analyze operational data to produce business KPIs. \t
  • Develop and implement the company's UK operational database. \t
  • Develop relationships with Local Authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support business development. \t
  • Ensure the company is represented operationally in your assigned area. \t
  • Manage operational issues and collection points in a timely manner. \t
  • Design, implement, and follow-up new takeback services.

This is a home-based role with extensive travel throughout the UK, including to the company's offices in London and Warwickshire when required.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \t
  • Experience in waste management or a related field. \t
  • Knowledge of WEEE, Batteries, and Packaging regulations. \t
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the UK.
