Job Title: Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at King's College Hospital. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to children and infants with a range of conditions and disabilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating physiotherapy interventions to promote optimal physical function and mobility in children and infants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to children and infants with a range of conditions and disabilities.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy interventions to promote optimal physical function and mobility in children and infants.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to our patients.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with physiotherapy colleagues, referring clinicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Attend case conferences, complex discharge planning meetings, and ward rounds to ensure that the physiotherapeutic management of patients is integrated into the individual patient treatment plan.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of paediatric conditions and problems.
  • Experience of working with children in acute environments.
  • Demonstrate experience of managing junior members of staff or students.
  • Examples of managing a busy caseload, prioritisation, and team management.
