Job Title: Band 6 Community Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people.

Job Summary

The Paediatric Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and rehabilitating children with a range of conditions, including respiratory, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders. The role will involve working with children of all ages and abilities, from neonates to young adults, and will require a flexible and adaptable approach to working.

Main Responsibilities
  • To assess and treat children with a range of conditions, including respiratory, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • To develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of each child.
  • To work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to care.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports of patient progress.
  • To participate in on-call and weekend services as required.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of paediatric conditions.
  • Experience of working with children in acute environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children and their families.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in working with children of all ages and abilities.
