Day Shift Supervisor

At Meatex Trading Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Day Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our production facility during the day shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of production staff to achieve high-quality production standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and personal hygiene procedures and regulations.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance team performance and productivity.
- Assist in achieving or improving performance targets in the department.
- Conduct team appraisals and provide on-the-job training to promote team development.
- Manage employee relations, including recruitment, disciplinaries, and performance management.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of required paperwork and system updates.
- Conduct shift handovers to ensure seamless operation across the week.
- Develop a flexible approach to adapt to changing business needs.
- Maintain good knowledge of basic food hygiene and health and safety principles.
- Possess good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to write and speak English fluently.
- Hold relevant certifications, such as IOSH Working Safely and Food Safety Level 2.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
