Job Title: Community Development Coordinator

We are seeking an energetic and innovative individual to join our dedicated team working with women and men in the Community Payback Unpaid Work Team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Unpaid Work Supervisors, ensuring performance management, quality assurance, and service delivery. They will also provide leadership and support to staff, promote pro-social modelling, and build relationships with stakeholders and beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Unpaid Work Supervisors and ensure they are equipped to manage people in the performance of Unpaid Work and Other Activity in the community.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff, including staff supervision and case management.
  • Ensure quality assurance and service delivery, including project management and promoting pro-social modelling.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and beneficiaries, including liaising with them to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of the Justice System, and be confident and willing to work in a dynamic environment. They will also have recognised SQA in management and/or Working with Offending Behaviour, or equivalent qualification, and experience in supervising/instructing people in work tasks.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
