About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Child and Family Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team in Aylesbury. In this vital role, you will work closely with families and their children, providing a supportive living environment that enables them to thrive.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments of parents' capacity to care for their children, using your expertise to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement. Additionally, you will offer guidance and support to families, working in partnership with social workers and other outside agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of parents' capacity to care for their children, identifying areas of need and developing strategies for improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to families, working in partnership with social workers and other outside agencies
  • Develop and implement effective rotas to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Maintain accurate records of training, health and safety, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with wider family groups, social workers, and other outside agencies to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements:

  • Committed to working with families and their children in a residential setting where behavior can be complex and challenging
  • Appropriate knowledge and experience of working with families and children, with a commitment to ongoing training and professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, social workers, and other outside agencies
  • Relevant qualification (NNEB/QCF/NVQ 3 in Care) and experience of working in a social service-related setting
  • All spent convictions and adult cautions not protected by law
