About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our team at West Sussex County Council. As a Commissioning Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing commissioning strategies to improve services for vulnerable older people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on commissioning projects to improve services for older people with care needs
- Develop and manage commissioning plans and budgets
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers to deliver high-quality services
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of commissioning projects
- Provide technical reports and recommendations to inform commissioning decisions
Requirements
- Strong project management experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data effectively
- Experience in commissioning in adult social care settings
- Demonstrable success in leading and managing a team
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative evidence-based solutions
- Experience working in a public sector environment
