About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Sector Consultant to join our team at Advanced Engineering Solutions (AES). As a key member of our Water Industry division, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our consultancy business within the water sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the expansion of our consultancy business within the water sector, leveraging your expertise in pipeline engineering, materials science, and structural analysis.
  • Support ongoing work streams and identify new business opportunities with UK Water Companies, utilizing your knowledge of the water sector and its challenges.
  • Lead the delivery of condition assessment reports, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Commercialise the value of AES's assessment data to enhance client offerings and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in growing a consultancy practice or a strong interest in doing so.
  • Bachelor's degree in general, civil, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in pipeline engineering, structural engineering, and stress analysis, preferably within the water sector.
  • Some background in materials science and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in quantitative data analysis.
  • Chartered Engineer status desirable.
