Career Teachers is looking for an experienced Employability Teacher to join our team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) College in Southwark. As an Employability Teacher, you will teach employability skills to students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching employability skills on outreach programmes
  • Delivering Functional Skills and employability lessons from Entry level to Level 2
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £42,500 per annum, ongoing professional development and support, and the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of students with learning difficulties and disabilities.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or alternative teaching qualification, recent experience of teaching students with special education needs and barriers to learning, and be able to plan effective employment educational programmes for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities including SEMH.
