Salary and Benefits
This manufacturing production operative position offers a competitive salary of £11.94 per hour, paid weekly. The role also includes free parking on site, 10 minutes walk from Yate train station, and full training provided.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for using various hand tools to cut fabric into pieces, laying up fabric on manual/automatic machines, prepping material for other areas of production, and creating composite labels and graphics for garments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have basic knowledge of computers/tablets, be able to speak, read, and write English, use and understand a ruler and measurements, and be comfortable in a physical role involving standing, walking, and lifting up to 30lb.
About the Job
This is a full-time Monday-to-Friday position, with a 39.5-hour workweek. The half-hour lunch break is unpaid, but two paid tea breaks are included. The right candidate will be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
