About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) value stream team, you will be responsible for supporting both Engine and Module overhaul activities.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that manufacturing processes are compliant with HS&E standards and capable of delivering a product that achieves and sustains the design intent. You will also drive a culture of zero defects within the organisation, working with all functions to reduce risk and drive product Right First Time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety - Ensure that manufacturing processes are in full compliance to HS&E standards and are capable of delivering a product that achieves and sustains the design intent.
  2. Quality - Drive a culture of zero defects within the organisation, working with all functions to reduce risk and drive product Right First Time.
  3. Delivery - Delivery focused mindset, working with cross-functional teams to ensure the manufacturing processes and digital systems are effective and support the operational requirements of the facility.
  4. Capability - Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and digital systems.
  5. Talent Development - Responsible for self-development to meet the required competencies for the role.

Requirements

  • Professionally Qualified Engineer (e.g. UK minimum HND/foundation degree or other national equivalent)
  • Recognised national or international engineering accreditation (e.g. UK IEng or CEng) where available
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to their business
  • General awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling software tools relevant to the business
  • Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering processes relevant to their role
