Senior Research Scientist in Gene Regulation

To contribute to the development of an antiviral for a new emerging or re-emerging virus as part of a European Consortium project funded by a Horizon 2020 grant at Imperial College London. This research aims to identify and validate a vaccine against a broad spectrum of potential emerging and re-emerging viruses listed by the WHO.
As a Senior Research Scientist, you will work closely with Professor Habib's team to find the most suitable gene for an anti-viral vaccine in the Francis Fraser laboratory.
Once the target gene is identified, you will assess its activity in vitro and present your findings as required.
You are expected to attend and participate in grant teleconferences to ensure seamless collaboration within the European consortium.

- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively within the consortium
