About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Fitter to join our team at Finning. As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers, ensuring their plant equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers, diagnosing and resolving issues with plant equipment
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess and maintain plant equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall equipment performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our services and solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in plant equipment maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of heavy earth moving equipment
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Valid LDV driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites
