Job Description
We're seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Midlands region. As a key member of our national Field Service Engineering Team, you'll deliver essential service plans to customers, address technical faults, and execute planned maintenance for our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and repair faults, conduct testing, and modify actuators in the field.
- Handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, along with associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts.
- Work logically to troubleshoot issues and possess the flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
Requirements
- Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems or related equipment.
- Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical, and fluid power theories.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and utilize common test and calibration tools.
- Experience of working in a practical engineering environment.
- Full Valid Driving License.
