Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer at Rotork, you will advance through milestones, progressing towards the Senior Field Service Engineering level. A well-defined strategy will pave the way for a career progression towards the role of National Service Manager or other specialist areas of the Service function.

You will be supported by our meticulously designed training program and a knowledgeable community of existing colleagues who are ready to assist you in overcoming any challenges that may arise. Rotork, a global organisation, is actively hiring Field Service Technicians in the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver essential service plans to customers and their sites, addressing various technical faults and executing planned maintenance for our products.
  • Report to the Service Manager and be an integral part of a national Field Service Engineering Team, providing swift and effective solutions to customer issues.
  • Identify faults, conduct repairs, test and modify actuators in the field, handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, and associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts.
Requirements
  • Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems or related equipment.
  • Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical, and fluid power theories.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools.
  • Experience of working in a practical engineering environment.
  • Full Valid Driving License.
