As a Field Service Engineer at Rotork, you will advance through milestones, progressing towards the Senior Field Service Engineering level. At this point, a well-defined strategy paves the way for a career progression towards the role of National Service Manager, or a number of opportunities to step into other specialist areas of the Service function.

You will be supported by our meticulously designed training program along with our knowledgeable community of existing colleagues who are ready to assist you in overcoming any challenges that may arise. Rotork, a global organization, is actively hiring Field Service Technicians in the Midlands region.

This pivotal role involves delivering essential service plans to our customers and their sites, addressing various technical faults, and executing planned maintenance for our products. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be an integral part of a national Field Service Engineering Team, providing swift and effective solutions to customer issues.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for identifying faults, conducting repairs, testing and modifying actuators in the field. You will also handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, along with associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts.

This opportunity is ideal for a determined problem-solver who approaches troubleshooting logically and possesses the flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays.

Key Requirements:

  1. Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control systems or related equipment.
  2. Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories.
  3. Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools.
  4. Experience of working in a practical engineering environment.
  5. Full Valid Driving License.
