Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Coordinator to lead the operational running of our care home site in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standards of care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: You will be responsible for coordinating the daily operational running of each unit across the care home site, ensuring that care is delivered in line with care plans and needs.
  • Compliance and Policy: You will support units in maintaining compliance with policies and procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice.
  • Leadership and Advocacy: You will role model exemplary leadership behavior and advocate for older people, supporting staff in delivering care that meets their individual needs.
  • Care Planning and Delivery: You will work closely with colleagues to support staff in delivering care in line with Advinia's care principles and care plans, promoting personal choice and independence.
  • Medication Management: You will support medication management and administration across the units, ensuring compliance with company policy.
  • Senior Management Support: You will provide senior management support in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, taking charge of the Home as required.
Requirements
  • Nurse qualified
  • Experience within a healthcare management position
